Art for All exhibit + Sale

Yarmouth Arts Alliance (YAA) is pleased to present Art for All, an exhibition and sale of art from 14 local artists on display at Merrill Memorial Library. The exhibit runs from November 9 to February 6 in the second-floor gallery of the library. The opening reception will be on November 12 from 5:30-7:00.

Designed as a holiday/winter season show, the exhibit features quality art of a wide variety of sizes and media, on sale at affordable prices, as an act of reciprocity for the community that generously supports the arts.

All 2D art will be on sale for $200 and 3D art will be $250, with 15% going to support YAA. New work will rotate in as pieces sell, with direct sales to the individual artists.

Yarmouth Arts Alliance (YAA) promotes and supports arts and cultural activities in the Yarmouth community. YAA is a diverse board of individuals, businesses, and nonprofits presenting as a unified voice for cultivating culture and supporting the economic vitality of Yarmouth.

The reception will also honor Shared Pathways, an exhibit of hanging stoneware bird sculptures by artist Caitlin Perrigo. Composed of 35 hand-sculpted ceramic birds, the installation is an ecological memorial that renders the unseen loss of bird- window strikes visible. It reflects on lives already lost while asking us to consider how we collectively can prevent future loss. Shared Pathways was installed to complement the bird-safe vinyl installed at the library by Birds by Design. Perrigo's sculptures are not for sale at this time.
