SCHOLARSHIPS

The Yarmouth Arts Alliance scholarship is awarded each year to a current high school senior, who resides in Yarmouth, Maine, has excelled in design, visual, and/or performing arts, and plans to continue in the arts after high school.

Look for the YAA 2024 Scholarship Application coming this winter.

Congratulations to our 2023 YAA Scholarship recipients, Ryan Paulu and Evie King

Dear YAA Board,

Thank you so much for nominating and choosing me as one of this year’s YAA Scholarship recipients. I am beyond honored to represent my school in this way, as well as being recognized to represent the values and practices that YAA as an organization stands for.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I hope you continue to inspire creativity in young people the way you’ve inspired me.

Truly,

Evie King, YHS

Dear YAA Board,

I want to thank you all for your generous scholarship acknowledging and promoting artists like myself. I will be forever grateful as I pursue passion and creative expression in composition and piano performance.

It is organizations like yours that make Yarmouth the community that it is and the world a better and more artful place.

With gratitude,
Ryan

”I want to bring my love of music and performing wherever I go. In August 2023, I will start a study abroad program in Prague, Czech Republic. There I will continue performing and studying piano, composition, and music pedagogy. I anticipate pursuing a college degree in both music and humanities. –Ryan Paulu
