About Us
Inspired by the collaborations and events of previous community art groups, the Yarmouth Arts Alliance (previously known as Yarmouth Arts) was formed in 2001 bringing together a diverse board of directors that included members of local nonprofits with an art component and the Town of Yarmouth Director of Economic Development, and Director of Planning & Development.
For 25 years, the Yarmouth Arts Alliance has focused its energy on promoting the arts in Yarmouth and increasing awareness of the benefits of the arts for the community as art plays an important role not only in the future of the economic development of a community, but in elevating a community’s sense of wellbeing. Art simply makes a community a happier and healthier place to be.
