About Us
Inspired by the collaborations and events of previous community art groups the Yarmouth Arts Alliance formed in 2017 bringing together a diverse board of directors that includes members from local nonprofits with an art component and the Town of Yarmouth’s Director of Economic Development and Director of Planning & Development.
Since then, the Alliance has focused their energy on promoting the arts in Yarmouth and increasing awareness of the benefits for the community. Art plays an important role not only in the future of the economic development of a community but in elevating a community’s sense of wellbeing. Art simply makes a community a happier and healthier place to be.
