OVER THE PATH

Located along the pathway that connects Main Street and Route One inYarmouth, “Over the Path” is an installation of seven Swifts and Swallows, cast in bronze and coated in patina. The installation is the first work commissioned by the YAA Public Art Committee. It was dedicated on Thursday, September 21, 2023 in a ceremony under the Route One Bridge.
About the artist: Pownal, Maine, artist John Bowdren is an outdoor sculptor and realist painter of the Maine coastal landscape. His work is exhibited in galleries throughout the state of Maine. Visit his website at www.johnbowdren.com
