I was born in Portland Maine. Throughout my adolescence and my time in high school I attended private art lessons with Ester Barney. After graduating from Deering High School, I attended the Portland School of Art, now called MECA, or Maine College of Art. I studied silversmithing, jewelry, and painting. I operated a successful one person silver jewelry design and creation venture through the 1990s. I am happily married to my husband John, and have two wonderful sons. I have returned to my love of painting and drawing, and I am currently producing and selling my works in the Southern Maine area.

Soulflower is my personal heART filled journey of growth, healing and self-discovery. An expression of my soul connection to the plants and flowers that so graciously support us and all life on this planet. My intention then, through my art, is to share the healing wisdom of the plants that so graciously support us and all life on this planet. That perhaps, the beautiful plants and flowers I paint and the soul messages they provide, will spark or support your healing journey, as it has mine, and that in turn contributes to the health and well-being of us all.

I am an oil painter and exhibit my work at Bayview Gallery in Brunswick, Maine. I grew up in Ohio where I taught the gifted program for elementary students. When we moved to Maine I was struck by it's beauty and started to paint.
