One way to support the arts community in Yarmouth is to support your local arts organization. Your contribution to Yarmouth Arts helps with our outreach efforts, including newsletters and this website, as well as programs and initiatives. Ongoing efforts include:

Art in Public Spaces––This initiative has already resulted in the acquisition of a painting for Town Hall, three paintings for the High School Library, and a mural in the Yarmouth Performing Arts Center lobby. Future projects include commissioning a sculpture at the High School as well as artwork in other schools and public places in town.

Yarmouth Arts & Cultural Directory––A printed version of this inventory of arts and cultural resources in our community was originally completed in 2002. The directory is also on the Yarmouth Arts website, and is currently being updated. The directory demonstrates the depth and breadth of arts-related resources in our community.

Evening with the Artist Series––Free and open to the public, these evening events have introduced audiences to a wide range of talented individuals in our community, from authors to photographers, painters to interior designers, musicians to landscape architects. Check out the calendar section of this website for a list of upcoming events in this series.

Events and Programs––Major events presented by Yarmouth Arts have included jazz performances, piano concerts, dance performances and more. Our annual fundraisers often include art auctions, which spotlight local talent and celebrate our creative community.

Grants & Sponsorships––Yarmouth Arts regularly supports artists and arts organizations in our community by offering direct grants, underwriting events and donating funds to support the development of creative programming.
