Yarmouth Arts is a local non-profit arts organization committed to identifying, encouraging and enhancing
the Arts within the community by increasing public awareness of existing cultural opportunities, promoting greater participation
in arts and cultural activities for all ages and interests, and facilitating and supporting cultural events and activities
within the Town of Yarmouth, Maine.
Outreach Program Purpose:
Yarmouth Arts will award a small number of Community Grants annually that provide support for the development of innovative
cultural, arts, and heritage projects. Projects must demonstrate a broad community benefit and directly relate to the purpose
of Yarmouth Arts (see above). Grants will range from $500- $1000. Proposals for above that amount may be considered.

Funding Information
1. Eligibility
Any organization, individual or municipal office in the Town of Yarmouth, Maine is eligible to apply to the program.
All funding must be used and final reports must be filed within one year of award date.
2. Funding Priorities
Priority will be given to projects that will benefit and/or be open to all members of the community of Yarmouth, Maine,
provide broad community benefit, build awareness of the Arts in Yarmouth, Maine and are directly related to the purpose
of Yarmouth Arts. Finally, projects that have not previously received a Yarmouth Arts Community Grant will be given priority.
Those projects that have received funding in the past are welcome to apply, but must have submitted their Final Reports
in order to be considered for additional funding.
Projects can be in the form of exhibitions, performances and creative pursuits. Funding for operational support will not
be considered. All funding must be used and final reports must be filed within one year of the date of the award.
3. Other Information:
Yarmouth Arts must be acknowledged in all materials related to the grant project as a Project Sponsor. This will include,
but is not limited to: press releases, marketing materials, etc.
The Review Committee is made up of members of the public and Members of Yarmouth Arts Board of Directors.
4. Final Report
Community Grant Award recipients are asked to document their projects with photographs. A final project report including
a one page written narrative and a final budget report will be due Yarmouth Arts no later than May 1, 2010.
