Yarmouth Arts - Part Time Executive Director Position

Yarmouth Arts, a non-profit organization established in 1999, is hiring a part-time Executive Director 8-10 hours per week. Yarmouth Arts is committed to providing workshops, public art projects, a grant program, an “Evening with the Artist Series.” Our web site www.yarmoutharts.org houses our directory of artists, a calendar listing of artistic events, art exhibits, and art openings.

We are looking for the following qualities:

• Volunteer coordination
• Grant writing skills
• Fundraising
• Membership building
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Communication skills for press releases and articles

Also:

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work with a 12-15 member board
• Work well independently from home office
• Able to attend monthly board meetings

Hourly rate: $ 20.00

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to enhance the cultural life of our community by increasing awareness of existing cultural opportunities; promoting greater participation in the arts and cultural activities for all ages and interests; and facilitating and supporting cultural events and activities in Yarmouth.
